Cover Reveal Thursday

Hey guys.
So, lately there have been a lot of cover reveals for either new books, upcoming releases or re-releases and I wanted to share with you, my readers, my favorite two covers that I have seen over the last few weeks.

Cover #1
Unravel Me (Shatter Me #2) by Tahereh Mafi
Release Date:  February 5th 2013 by HarperCollins
Format: Hardcover

Isn't this cover just stunning? Cover art at it's best, in my opinion. So Unravel Me is the second installment in the Shatter Me series. Shatter Me was an incredibly amazing and poetic dystopian novel and I can't wait to read book 2 in this series.

Cover #2
The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines #3) by Richelle Mead
Release Date:  February 12th 2013 by Razorbill
Format: Hardcover

I cannot wait for this book. I am a huge fan of the Bloodlines series and I'm constantly amazed at how talented Richelle Mead is when it comes creating book series that are so unique even though they may take place in the same world as her previous books. I say this since the Bloodline series is a spin off series of Vampire Academy. I love the main characters in Bloodlines (Sydney and Adrian) and can't wait to see how they conquer more challenges in The Indigo Spell. Speaking of, I just love the cover for The Indigo Spell. The color, with the flowers around the title, everything looks great, though I am intrigued by the new guy on the cover (one on the left) since Adrian is on the right. I wonder who he may be? February can't come soon enough!

What do you guys think? Are there any book covers that you are gushing about? And if so, which ones are they? :)

Thanks for reading lovelies <3

  1. The cover for Unravel Me is just stunning! I'd love to meet the creative genius behind that! I have to say I'm not thrilled with the cover for The Indigo Spell, it just seems a little Meh!
The golden Lilly cover was so much more impressive!

    1. I hear you. The cover for the Golden Lily was prettier. The reason I geeked out so much for this one is because I love the color blue LOL. I do know this is an early version of the Indigo Spell cover so it should be interesting to see the final one & see if things are added. :)

Agreed on Unravel Me. Whoever created this cover art, did an amazing job!

  2. I love blue so always love books with this kind of colouring. I especially like The Indigo Spell featuring the guys for a change. The guy on the right is not good looking enough to be my Adrian though lol

    1. Yay - *high five* for also loving blue :D

I know, right? I also love it when they feature the male characters from the book on the cover :)

Haha, I hear that, Suzanne. The Adrian in my head is also much much prettier, lol. ;)

  3. Ohhh, Jen! Aren't the new covers for the Shatter Me are so pretty?? I liked the original, but I feel like these ones are kinda more fitting because they're a different kind of stunning! But even though The Indigo Spell cover is cool, the one for The Golden Lily will always be my favourite. Although I'm really curious about the new guy too! I'm thinking he might be Eddie, but maybe there will be a new guy introduced now that Brayden is kicked to the curb? :D

    Wonderful post, Jen! :) <3

    1. Thank you, Mimi :)

Yes, so w/ you on that. The new covers for Shatter Me are gorgeous!

You know, at 1st, I thought the new guy on the Indigo Spell cover could be Eddie, too. But then I remembered that Eddie is described as having blonde hair that is similar in color to Sydney's, so that crosses him out since new guy has really dark hair xD

Oh, you think so? Like, a love triangle? Interestingg, Mimi. I didn't think about that :O Though, I don't think I could handle someone meddling w/ the perfection that is Sydney+Adrian, lol. They are my book babies, hahaha!

  4. Oh, I do like the Unravel Me cover. I have Shatter Me (with the original cover) but I really need to read it. It sounds awesome, and I've heard great things. I'm glad to hear you enjoy it too.

    1. My copy of Shatter Me is the one with the original cover, too! :)

I highly recommend Shatter Me, Lauren. It was really well-written and the characters really tug on the heartstrings, even the villain (which though evil, is still so fascinating, haha).

I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did when you get the chance to read it ;)
