Showcase Sunday (17) - Stacking the Shelves (9)

Showcase Sunday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by Vicky at the Books, Biscuits and Tea blog. It is a meme inspired by Pop Culture Junkie and The Story Siren. The goal of this meme is for us bookish peeps to showcase & highlight the books that we have either bought, borrowed, won, downloaded, or received for review the past week :)

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga's Review to highlight the books us bloggers have gotten during the week, as well.

I like both memes, so I've decided to take part in both =)

BOUGHT

1. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë
2. Aleph by Paulo Coelho (Spanish Edition)
3. The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski (New Adult novel) - ebook

FOR REVIEW
Elder (Firstborn #3) by Raine Thomas

AMAZON KINDLE FREEBIES
Lacrimosa by Christine Fonseca

Evie's Knight by Kimberly Krey

Ordained by Devon Ashley

Six Moon Summer by SM Reine

Sidenote: I am a huge Jane Eyre geek. I own the ebook, a paperback, I've seen the recent movie adaptation with Michael Fassbender and the BBC mini series of it and when I saw this gothic paperback. I just had to get it and in blue which is my fave color. In love with this cover.

When it comes to Aleph, so excited that I found it in Spanish. I tend to read Paulo Coelho, only in Spanish. It's a tradition with me. But I feel, like, since he writes in Portuguese and Spanish is so similar and a romance language as well, that the translation is the closest you can get to his original voice :D

The Edge of Never is one the books that I am currently reading. It is a contemporary (realistic fiction) novel that is tremendously good and it's a New Adult book (a genre I am trying to read more of).

And I am SO excited about reading and reviewing Elder. Raine Thomas' books are so addicting. Can't wait to see how the Firstborn series ends!

What book loveliness did you receive this week? :)

I've yet to read Ordained and it'll be more than likely be next year when I get to read it.

I visited Haworth where the Bronte museum is located and they were hosting an exhibition of costumes from the recent film adaptation of Jane Eyre.
